ü  The color of Black Box is orange, not black. Black Box is an electronic recording machine placed in an aircraft to make the task of aviation accidents and incidents easier. Basically, there are two parts of a flight recorder or Black Box- Flight Data Recorder(FDR) and Cockpit Voice Recorder(CVR). FDR preserves all the information of the aircraft during the flight like direction, altitude, fuel, speed, temperature etc. About 88 such values are recorded in the FDR. The CVR records the sound in airplane during the last two hours to predict the conditions of the plane recently before the accident. Black Box is made up of Titanium metal, which gives it the strength to withstand any shock, it receives. It will work without electricity for more than 30 days.

ü  Russian revolution or what we called the October revolution actually took place from 6-7 November. But, why is it then called October revolution? Well, it is because, Russia in that time did not have the same calendar as we have today. Today the Gregorian calendar is used all over the world. But Russia adopted the new form of calendar later. Till that time, it would use Julian calendar, which counted two back from Gregorian calendar. According to that calendar, the revolution took place in 24 October. This is why Russian people celebrate the October revolution anniversary in November.
